Elizabeth Frey, Treasurer
My name is Elizabeth Frey, and I am proud to serve as Treasurer for my nephew, Chaz Packan, in his campaign for County Council District 4. Chaz has been a part of my life since I was a junior in high school, and from the moment he arrived, he changed our family in ways we never expected.
When Chaz was born, we later learned he would face physical disabilities that would require strength, determination, and resilience far beyond his years. As his aunt, and as someone who had never walked through something like this before, it was difficult to understand what the future might hold for him. He was the first grandchild in our family, my first nephew, and we were suddenly navigating challenges none of us had anticipated.
But from the very beginning, Chaz proved that limitations placed on him by others would never define him. At every stage of his life, he achieved things people said he would never do. I watched this tiny little boy fight through obstacles with grit, faith, and a spirit that inspired everyone around him. Over the years, he grew into the kind, passionate, and determined young man he is today, still pushing past expectations, still proving people wrong, and still giving everything he has to the people and causes he believes in.
Chaz’s foundation has always been built on faith and family. Those values guide every decision he makes and shape the way he shows up for his community. He believes deeply in creating a District 4 where every person has the opportunity to pursue their dreams, overcome their challenges, and beat the odds, just as he has done his entire life.
It is an honor to support him in this journey. I believe in his heart, his integrity, and his commitment to serving others. I’ve seen firsthand the strength and compassion that drive him, and I am proud to stand beside him as he works to make a difference for the people of District 4.
